I am never bored at airports. Portals to far flung places I've never even heard of, hubs of micro society, architectural cathedrals of aviation. I relish a layover, a six hour wait at an international colossus like Munich or Madrid Barajas or Amsterdam Schipol. In a jet lagged, drug-like state, exploring toilets at a far flung gate, drinking beer at 8am, buying stationary I don't need.
